Midas Enterprises opened its first Los Angeles-area property. The $25 million, 107-room Residence Inn is located in Lancaster, California.

HELPING OUT

Schnuck Markets Inc. customers raised $245,000 for The Salvation Army’s annual Tree of Lights campaign through the grocer’s Round Up at the Register campaign. Schnucks donated almost $21,000.

Amy White, an employment law attorney with Littler, was elected to serve as board secretary for Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services.

CBD Kratom donated $600 to Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis and $800 to Pride St. Louis as part of its Living Our Values campaign.
