Draymond Green’s home robbed of more than $1 million during the Super Bowl – Marca English

What a reaction NBA star Draymond Green must have had during Super Bowl LVI played at SoFi Stadium as his Los Angeles home was burglarized, and the value of the items looted is estimated at more than $1 million.

Green was reportedly robbed of belongings such as watches, jewelry and other items, according to TMZ Sports.

Green, a Golden State Warriors star, went to enjoy the Super Bowl that the Los Angeles Rams won by defeating the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20, and upon returning home he realized that his house had been broken into, according to police sources.

TMZ has reported that the criminals allegedly entered the basketball star’s property through a window of the house and then took watches and jewelry, among other items, valued at more than $1 million.

So far, there has been no further information about Green’s home burglary, nor have any arrests been made.

Other burglaries at Los Angeles athletes’ homes

Like Green, other sports stars who play for Los Angeles franchises have had their homes burglarized during a major sporting event, such as Yasiel Puig.

Puig, 31, in 2017 was playing with the Dodgers in Game 7 of the World Series, but to his misfortune his home was burglarized while he was losing the MLB championship to the Houston Astros.

These types of burglaries of sports stars’ homes are common in areas of California, as in 2019 local authorities alerted Rams players about the risk of their homes being burglarized, so it was advisable to reinforce security precautions.
