UPDATE: The LA Galaxy dominated this match and go on to defeat the Portland Timbers 4-1.

The Portland Timbers are back out on the road and will be tested again on short rest as they get set to face the Los Angeles Galaxy and their star-studded lineup and the showdown taking place Friday, July 30 at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET at Dignity Health Sports Park with a live broadcast on ESPN.

56th minute: Things go from bad to worse for Timbers defenders who allow yet another easy goal to the Galaxy, this time on a header from Samuel Grandsir. WATCH:

53rd minute: Galaxy are awarded a penalty as once again the Timbers defense makes a crucial mistake. Sacha Kljestan steps up and boots it past Steve Clark to give LA a commanding 3-1 lead. WATCH:

34th minute: And just after the match was again on equal footing, the Galaxy find another goal in this wild back-and-forth sequence as the Timbers fail to close on the end line and a pinpoint cross from Julian Araujo finds a wide-open victor Vasquez who heads it far post for the easy score. Awful defending there from Portland. Galaxy now lead 2-1. WATCH:

29th minute: Just two minutes later, the Timbers equalize as Jeremy Ebobisse knocks one in for Portland after receiving a pass from Yimmi Chara, spinning away from a defender and slotting it home. WATCH:

27th minute: Rayan Raveloson scores in incredible fashion with a bicycle kick goal that comes as Portland failed to clear the corner and can only watch helplessly as it bounces past the keeper and in for the score. WATCH:
