LMU College of Business Administration

Dayle M. Smith is dean of the College of Business Administration at Loyola Marymount University.

Since joining LMU in 2018, Smith has spearheaded a new strategic plan for the college, which includes developing a mission statement, growing a diverse faculty, adding new degree programs and enhancing student engagement experiences.

Smith joined LMU from Clarkson University, where she served as dean of the David D. Reh School of Business. She has also served on the faculty at USC, Georgetown University and the University of San Francisco.

Smith earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in organizational communication from USC and a B.A. in communication studies from the University of Texas, Arlington.
